These are my top 5 makeup products that I just can’t live without on a photo shoot.
1. Smashbox Photo Finish Primer

This primer creates such a perfect surface for foundation, that you can actually see the difference as you’re applying your base. You need less, keeps skin matte longer, and this one also softens fine lines as well.
2. Khiel’s Lip Balm

I use on every model before I start their foundation. Makes lips super smooth and ready for color. The texture is unbeatable.
3. Prestige Foundation Powder
Looking for a budget version of Mac’s StudioFix? Prestige has a great one with great colors, and really works! I’ve been using it like crazy on photo shoots to create the new matte skin for fall. (At your local drugstore.)
4. Cargo Blush & Eye Shadows

Huge, generous shades that last me forever, their brighter blush colors are beautiful on darker skin, and applies super smooth. And their bronzers are my absolute favorites, The most perfect combination of shimmer and bronze. When my bronzer in Medium broke into a million pieces, I cried. And their eye shadows? Stays on forever.
5. Face atelier Primer + Foundation
Ever since I got this foundation at the Makeup Show, it’s all I ever use on photo shoots now. It’s a foundation and primer all in one. So it saves me a step during a hectic day. But the best part? This makes skin look absolutely flawless. I mean perfect. And skin still looks like skin. To the point where photographers have very little retouching to do. And it stays on forever. Just mist with a little bit of water to touch up and you’re good to go. Fantastic.
